Startup & Entrepreneurship

End of last year, our CEO Vladimir gave an exciting (tech-)talk on the topic of "Startups and Entrepreneurship". As we have often tried out new approaches ourselves and are still testing our limits, the talk was all the more exciting. In terms of content, it was mainly about the key findings from two books: "The Startup Owner's Manual" by Steve Blank and Bob Dorf and also "Business Model Generation" by Alexander Osterwalder and Ives Pigneur.

One key insight: a startup is not a miniature version of an established company, but a temporary, flexible organization in search of a sustainable business model. The lean approach, principles of customer development, design thinking and rapid prototyping are also described. As is usual at ADEAL, the book does not follow a rigid business plan that remains unchanged for three years, but instead relies on a flexible model that is constantly being adapted.

A clear recommendation for these books for all those who try things out, who are familiar with pivoting and who like to break new ground.

We are already looking forward to the next exchange, then again with a pure tech talk on exciting analytics, cloud & AI topics.
